My Activewear Brands Favorites List

by You all know I love activewear…I wear it daily and rely on it for my workouts, obviously, I love finding some comfy and fitting womens gym leggings for my workouts. But I also love wearing active pieces in my everyday life. Athleisure has become so common and SO cute, practical and comfortable. I love that it is totally acceptable to wear activewear outside of the gym- who’s with me?!

Over the past few years there have been SO many brands popping up and the options are sort of becoming endless in the activewear world. It’s no longer Lululemon or bust, those days are LONG gone my friends. I mean, I still love a lulu piece every now and then, but they aren’t even on my list to be honest!! EEK!

Since I started my blog, I have had the pleasure to try out MANY different brands and because of that I have become a loyal fan of many of them. Loyal meaning I will go out and buy pieces even though I get sent a lot of gear for free and I really don’t need any other new activewear in my life. I may have a slight obsession, but hey the obsession could always be over something worse! I love good quality, cute activewear…and I am not ashamed of that.

I get asked a lot about my favorite brands for active/athleisure and I thought it was time for me to make a master list of my favorite brands, why I love them and some favorite pieces from their collections. You may know some of these brands already, and some you may not! I’m actually really excited about the idea of introducing some of you to newer brands you didn’t previously know about! Ok so here we go….

Fitkat Activewear Brands Master List

enter site Carbon38

Carbon38 is an online retailer that sells many different activewear brands. BUT their own personal collections “Carbon38” are absolutely killer! Their Takara Legging is amazing and I wear my black ones and army green ones constantly and always get compliments. They fit amazing, suck me in in all the right places and stay in place as I workout. Plus, they look like liquid leather, but are very light and comfortable- perfection!

Their hero collection is also amazing- cool camo designs that are chic and functional. They also do designer collaborations, and their Jonathan Simkhai lace up collection is so gorgeous and very unique! Another style that always sells out, because it is insanely beautiful, is the Sayang Collection. I have two Sayang sets and they are so stunning I almost feel like I don’t want to mess them up by working out in them haha!

But the Takara legging is very special, I HIGHLY recommend. Oh and they sell out constantly, so snag them while they are in stock! PS: Carbon is having a HUGE sale at the moment, so head over for some major steals.

You probably know about Alo already….they have quickly become an activewear favorite across the board. Their fabrics are thick, comfortable and extremely well made. I particularly love their High Waist Moto Leggings– they come in SO many color options are are just the coolest leggings around. I wear them outside of the gym all the time and they always look effortlessly chic. Their interlace leggings are another favorite- they look cute and really move well with your body whether you’re in a HIIT class or hot yoga.

They are great at making sure almost all leggings can be bought with a matching bra or top, so for anyone else who is obsessed with a workout set like I am….Alo has you covered. Size down in Alo, they tend to run a little bit big.

I get asked about Fabletics all the time! People want to know if the clothes are good, good quality and actually fit well. And I always tell them YES! Fabletics is a very affordable activewear line that makes cute gear that is really good quality. My favorite pair of black high waisted leggings are from Fabletics- I wear them ALL the time! They have amazing sign up deals and incredible sales all the time, so you are sure to get a lot for what your paying, which I love.

lopinavir tablets Noli Yoga

Noli is a brand I was introduced to at the end of last year and I have become a very quick fan! Their clothes fit SO well, are very flattering, well made and very functional. Their studio set and liquid set are both incredible- so chic, comfortable and amazing for my workouts. They also have some fun printed sets that are very cute and too much, you know? Sometimes a print can be overwhelming, but Noli makes their prints very chic and wearable.

kaletra covid 19 buy Onzie

Onzie has SUCH amazing pieces and sets! Their Olympian Set is one of my favorite sets to wear- it fits so well, makes my butt look amazing and has the cutest rainbow stripe details, I constantly get compliments! I also LOVE their Track leggings– I just got them in Sage and they are the cutest. Their fabrics are lightweight, comfortable and hit at the natural waist for a very flattering fit. They have some super cool patterns too, and a tie dye set that is to die for! Onzie is brand that has a lot of fun with their designs and I LOVE that! Outdoor Voices

Outdoor Voices is definitely the super cool, laid back, hipster chick in the neighborhood. Their whole brand screams cool, effortless and fashionable without trying hard. Their fabrics are like no other, and have a sort of retro feel to them. They are incredibly well made and their color patterns are my favorite. I love their 7/8 Springs Legging and the Athena Crop. A lot of their styles are mix and match too which is amazing. You can get more looks with fewer pieces, who doesn’t love that?

If you are looking for the coolest gear, the most amazing fabrics and expert quality…you have to get your hands on some Outdoor Voices and start #DoingThings. I would size up if you are unsure what size to get- the leggings tend to run a bit snug. Beyond Yoga

Beyond Yoga has some amazing pieces as well. I love their gray leggings in spacedye- they seriously make your butt look SO good, and they hug your curves in all the right places. The Take Me Higher Legging is amazing…and if you love a set like me, you can’t go wrong with the ultra cool, sexy Eastbound Long Legging and matching Eastbound Bralet.

Beyond Yoga is quickly becoming a common favorite, especially in the fitness/wellness blogger world! Fits are true to size.

enter site Nike

Nike, DUH! Can’t have an activewear master list without the obvious active giant on it! I know we all know and love Nike, but I’m going to share my specific favorites. I can’t live without my Nike Metcons for HIIT classes- they are seriously the BEST!! I wrote a whole blog post about them- yes, that’s how much I love them. I also love their classic medium support bras for running and super intense workouts. Where other bras fall short, Nike holds you in like a tight, trendy hug.

Also, their color palette and designs are always on point- they really know how to make clothes that we want to wear- and they last! Quality is important because you want to get the most out of your gear you spend your money on.

That’s it my loves! Do you have any brands you love that you want to share?!? LMK- I am always looking for new, amazing activewear.

Have a lovely long weekend!

XO Katrina

Hi! Love this blog post! So helpful! Quick question – which do you prefer between the Carbon38 Takara and the Noli liquid legging. Which one looks/ fits better. To me they seem like they’re too similar to get both so I’m trying to figure out which you would recommend or what, if any, differences there are. Thanks!!

I personally love the Carbon 38 Takara leggings so much and would highly recommend them! Noli’s sizing is a little funny sometimes, but the Takaras are perfection. I have one pair in a small and one in an XS and both fit well actually!
