The Products I Use Every Day

I am such a product junkie. This is a fact. And I love trying new products and finding new favorites to circulate into my skincare and makeup routine.

I try to use as many natural products as possible, because I just think they are better for my skin and keep any weird reactions at bay. I do have sensitive skin, so when I cut out some of the less natural products, I noticed a major improvement in my skin- it is less red, less bumpy and it just looks fresher and brighter!

BUT it is very difficult to go all-natural when it comes to beauty. Product shelf life would be basically nothing if there were no ways to keep the ingredients fresh…so I adopted a “mostly natural” routine and I try to just do the best I can and not obsess about it. I use mostly natural products, but some less natural ones too…a bit of balance is fine to me. Figuring out what works for you and what is attainable for your everyday life is the most important part.

I decided I wanted to make these beauty round-up posts something I do every couple of months because my favorites do change pretty often and they also depend on the season. I have a handful of staples that I always use, but I do like to circulate things because new products are ALWAYS coming out and if you never try something new you may never know what you’re missing. PLUS, I get a lot of products sent to me…the latest and I want to test and review the newest things and let you know what’s worth it and what to skip!

So here are some of my current favorite products that I have been using daily.

Beauty Product Roundup

Evolis Hair Growth Tonic

Evolis sent me some products to try a few months back. I love hair care and their growth tonic really intrigued me. But I am a constant skeptic, so I decided to try it out and see what happened. After a few months of using the tonic twice daily (on most days if I didn’t forget) I noticed that I had more hair growth on the areas where I put it. It isn’t SUPER dramatic, but definitely noticeable. I put it on my front hair line and down my center part, and massaged it in. I noticed the most hair growth at my hair line above the outside corners of my eyes- that little area that tends to thin out. I also notice that the new hair growing in feels really nice- it feels healthy and strong.

This is the type of product that you have to keep using to keep getting the results, so I will keep going for a while longer to see what the more long terms results look like and I will report back. The ingredients are natural and it is a super easy product to use! So far thumbs up and if it helps my hair grow in better and look better, I am ALL for it!

Perricone Md Cloud Cream

I LOVE this face cream!!! It is so silky, smooth and moisturizing. I have tried so many face lotions/creams and this is one of my favorites ever. It really makes my skin so smooth and got rid of some bumps caused my dryness I was dealing with. It also makes my makeup look super smooth and nice and NO excess greasiness- just a dewy pretty look. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Perricone Md “No Foundation” Foundation Serum

I am having a major moment with Perricone MD as you can see. First of all, I love their whole “No Makeup” line. It is so bomb. All the products are designed to enhance your features in the most natural way possible and it does just that- it makes you look like a more beautiful version of the natural you. Which is the whole point of makeup. I didn’t want to put every single product from the collection on this round up (haha) so I chose the foundation serum because I think it is super special. You can use it alone or mixed in with your foundation for more coverage…although I always use it solo. I apply a few drops all over my face and blend it in…then I go in with concealer around my nose and under my eyes and that’s it! You can add more to build up the coverage if you need a little more, plus the universal shade it pretty spot on for my skin tone but you can certainly blend it out or add some bronzer to darken it. It also has a natural sunscreen in it to keep you protected from the sun without any irritation. It smoothes your skin and treats it well at the same time- make your makeup work for you! Double duty.

Clarins Ginzing Eye Cream

I love this eye cream! If you don’t use an eye cream every day, you need to start now, by the way! You might also want to read into something like this article going over the difference between eye creams and eye balms, and why you need different products for our eyes! The skin around your eyes is super thin and delicate- it needs proper care to keep it smooth, fresh and wrinkle-free for as long as possible. This eye cream is energizing and designed to give you that wide awake look while also reducing puffiness and dark circles. It is perfect for your morning routine! I put it on and let it sit before putting on makeup and it makes me look more awake and bright eyed, which is SO amazing, especially on those mornings where getting up and out is a struggle. Tap it lightly all around your eye area- no rubbing or pulling! Watch those puffy eyes calm down within minutes.

PÜR Afterglow Illuminating Powder

First of all, PÜR products are 100% cruelty free which is amazing and I love using brands I know care. Secondly, this product is AMAZING! It is packed with hydrating minerals that fight inflammation and signs of aging so you can rest assured that you are putting something good on your skin. Again, make your makeup work for you!

Now, as for the look and effects, this product totally rocks. It is so light you won’t even feel it there, and it adds the most beautiful, natural looking highlight. You can use it to create a strobe effect and bring out the angles of your face or with bronzer to create a beachy, dewy, goddess look. I put it on the tops of my cheek bones, corners of my forehead, the bridge of my nose and on my lips cupids bow. I dust it on lightly with a brush and it never looks like makeup, it just looks like me but glowy and better. I love it and couldn’t recommend it enough. It is also pretty goof-proof so you don’t risk looking like you have obvious highlighter on. Never a good look.

Josie Maran Aragan Black Oil Mascara

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical of this one at first. I mean…argan oil IN mascara…wouldn’t it just slip around and end up all over your face?? But the packaging is so cute that I needed to give it a try, and I have to say, I am SUPER impressed. First of all, this mascara is very black and slick- it really makes my lashes stand out. It also goes on super smooth, without any clumps and makes my lashes look curled even when I don’t curl them. It is also a treatment mascara that hydrates and conditions lashes to help them grow longer and look thicker. I love anything that does double duty, and this mascara certainly delivers! Argan oil does wonders for my hair, so why not give my lashes a drink of this amazing oil?? Love this.

Dr. Brandt Lip Plumper

The “no more needles” lip plumper is a really cool product. It has an “AM” and a “PM” side and you use it morning and night. It is super hydrating and smoothing, I found that it took all of the lines out of my lips and make them look softer. And to me softer lips look fuller. It plumps your lips without any weird side effects and it is subtle looking- not super aggressive and it won’t make your lips look red and irritated. I have tried a few other lip plumpers and I like this one a lot more than any others…it doesn’t numb my lips and it is super easy to use morning and night.

Dr. Hauschka Revitalizing Mask

This mask is so light and so hydrating. It really smooths my skin and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. I love Dr. Hauschka products because they are holistic and they really work SO well…I have been a fan for a long time. But I just started using this mask and I am obsessed. I use it at night and leave it on for like an hour or overnight and it makes my skin look smooth, line free and fresh. I wear it to bed a lot actually! And I just splash my face with water the next morning and I swear my skin looks like baby skin-flawless and like I have no pores at all! This may be what Beyonce was talking about when she said she woke up like this. HA! This is going super fast, I am going to have stock up again soon!

Rosehip Oil

One of my staples. I mean, I already wrote a whole post about it, praising its amazingness, but I felt compelled to remind you and include it in the round up. Read that post here. I use this every single day, day and night. I wear a few drops under my moisturizer, before applying makeup and it really makes me look dewy and glowing. It also hydrates like a dream and is an anti-aging powerhouse! My skin has looked so much better since using this product consistently and I’m pretty sure I will never stop using it.

So that’s it babes! I love these products, and will do another post in a couple of months with my new obsessions. If you try any of these, leave me feedback! I love hearing other peoples experiences!

XO Katrina
