The Best Blonde Shampoos

go to link So, you may have noticed…I color my hair. No, it is not naturally this blonde when it grows out of my head…and to be honest I am not too sure what color my hair naturally IS anymore! Ooops! I know it’s not very cute though- something along the lines of muddy mousy boringness. SO, I cover that stuff up with icy blonde highlights to brighten up my look and give my hair some life.

ritonavir coronavirus online store The past year, I have ditched the golden color in favor of icy cooler tones. More white than yellow. I think it looks very sleek and really brightens up my face. If you want the same look, ask for something more ashy or icy when you go to the salon. BUT with this color, it takes a little bit more attention to care to keep it bright and cool. Product build up and harsh water can cause the color to fade, dull and get brassy…which is not the look I am personally going for.

who makes kaletra So, once you get those gorgeous tresses lightened up, you need to have a game plan and an arsenal of the right products to take care of what you paid for. Blonde babes: having more fun definitely comes at a little bit of a cost. You gotta be on top of that hair care! Picking out the right shampoo is crucial. I have a regular color care shampoo I use, and once or twice a week I use a blonde shampoo that helps to clarify my hair and keep the brightness there. I do this with a purple shampoo. I have tried SOOO many you guys….and after trying so many I definitely have a few favorites. There are so many out there so I narrowed it down to my top 4.

kaletra 200 mg/50 mg cost I only try to wash my hair 2-3 times a week (if I didn’t work out, I would wash it less). Purple shampoos can often dry out your hair, so ONLY use these once or twice a week and use a nourishing deep conditioner after to keep your strands feeling more like silk than straw.

Kevin Murphy Blonde Angel

This one is my favorite and also the one I am currently using. It is super pigmented and really brightens up the lightest colors in my hair- keeping it cool and icy with no brass in sight. A little goes a long way and I use it once a week. It is also sulfate free, so it’s healthy for all hair types.

DryBar Blonde Ale Brightening Shampoo

This one is a favorite among blondes. It really does it all: brightens, fights brassiness, strengthens your hair and makes it shine. Also free of sulfates and won’t weigh your hair down.

Matrix Total Results So Silver

This one is so affordable, gotta love that! It eliminated yellowing of hair and keeps cool blondes and grey hair bright and shimmering. Many blondes use shampoos that are targeted at “silver” tones because they really work for keeping away that dulling that tends to happen to bottle blondes.

Peter Coppola: Legacy Color Control Toning Shampoo

This one is super moisturizing, while doing all the other things the other products above it do. Some purple shampoos dry out hair, but certainly not this one. It is also free of sulfates and gives you that fresh out of the salon hair feeling. And we ALL love that feeling!

Thank you so much for this post. After recently returning blonde for the first time in almost a decade, I forgot the upkeep required for keeping blonde hair in the cool tones. I was incredibly happy after leaving the salon with my silver blonde…about 6 days later, not so much. (Yellow hair doesn’t look so hot on me) I had already followed you on ig so thankfully I was able to see this post. In a world with too many shampoos to choose from, this blog is super helpful. Thanks!

So glad to help!! Blonde takes work! haha. For some extra “cooling” of the color, leave the purple shampoo on your DRY hair for maybe 5 minutes, then jump in the shower and shampoo it and condition it as usual. Letting it sit for a bit on dry hair makes it work overtime…should help! But no longer than 5 mins! It could turn purple …eek!

What do you use in between the purple shampoo? I’m having a hard time keeping the brassy at bay and the straw from taking over my head!! I don’t put shampoo in my hair everyday, but I do get it wet in the shower after working out daily. I can’t decide if that is adding to the scarecrow look🤦🏼‍♀️

I use a sulfate free shampoo by Matrix most days, and my purple shampoo only once a week. I’m also starting to dabble in cleansing conditioners that don’t strip the hair as much as shampoo. So far I’m liking the results!
Do you make sure to condition your hair well after each wash or rinse? And are you using hot styling tools on your hair daily?
