follow site Sunscreen is, hands down, the number one way to protect your skin from pre-mature aging and splotchy pigmentation as well as skin cancer.  We all know it is important to wear sunscreen everyday- we have been told it so many times…but how many of us actually do it?  I do!!  Well…I didn’t always, its an easy thing to forget to do…but I have been religious about it for the past few years and am happy I started the habit early enough in my 20’s to keep my skin looking good for the future.

kaletra as prep In fact, UV rays are responsible for 80% of wrinkles on most people.  That is a crazy percentage!  And a 2% increase in sun damage can age a face 2-3 years!! YIKES!!

ritonavir coronavirus coronavirus Most makeup now does have SPF in it- but is it enough?  And what about those days when you aren’t wearing that makeup?  And what about your neck and chest area?  I started paying attention to where and how I apply sunscreen daily because I know my future self will thank me!  And I wear sunscreen, or a moisturizer with sunscreen in it, every single day whether I am wearing makeup or not.  Right now, I use Keihl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 30.

I have heard that anything over SPF 30 is basically just SPF 30- my dermatologist sort of confirmed this and reconfirmed that when using SPF, 30 should be used, and reapplied throughout the day.  So that reapply-through-the-day-thing always gets me…unless I am at the beach enjoying a day in the sun, I rarely reapply!  And if I am just out and about on a normal day- where and how should I reapply?  I found some good products that make reapplication to your face and neck a total breeze and you won’t have to sacrifice your makeup in the process.  Most are in a powder or spray form- which I think are the easiest to reapply.

So I have rounded up my favorite all-over sunscreens good for head to toe application, and with minimal extra ingredients!  And they all smell good (super important also!!)

And here are my favorites for your face/neck that pay a little more attention to skin care- because you don’t want to use your fancy sunscreen all over your body! Also in here are some good suncreens that make reapplication a breeze!

Shop my favorites above and treat your skin well.

XO Katrina

Good post, Katrina! I will add another that is very good for people with sensitive skin and/or rosacea:

    Elta MD SPF 46

It’s zinc oxide-based. I really like this for face. I can use a lot of brands for body, but with face I have to be more careful because of skin sensitivity.
