I’m having a matcha moment right now. I am loving my matcha lattes and iced matcha lattes in the afternoons as a little pick me up. I’m opting for those instead of coffee because they don’t seem to give me any type of crash later in the afternoon… and it’s super healthy!

This protein smoothie is a major beauty elixir, and also a great meal replacement- I drink it for breakfast all the time!
Matcha Collagen Protein Smoothie
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp collagen powder (I use this one)
3/4 tsp matcha powder
1/2 very ripe banana (frozen or fresh)
1 heaping handful of baby spinach
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup ice
Add all the ingredients to a high power blender except the ice. Blend on medium/high until the spinach is completely pulverized and no specs remain. Turn off and then add ice. Blend again on high until all ice is crushed and the shake has a milkshake type of consistency.
Serve and enjoy!
